This enables you to run more plug-ins simultaneously, whether tracking or mixing. The included UAD Spark subscription lets you balance processing between the Apollo X8 and your computer.

Legendary Mic Preamp Emulations

The Apollo X8 provides four Unison preamps for stunning emulations of Neve, API, Avalon, and Manley preamps. Unison technology nails the tone of these sought-after preamps by modeling their impedance, gain stage "sweet spots," and circuit behaviors. You get the character of high-end hardware preamps with the flexibility of UAD plug-ins.

With 18 x 24 simultaneous inputs/outputs, the Apollo X8 handles large productions with ease. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports provide ultra-fast connectivity and daisy-chaining of up to six UAD-2 devices and four Apollos.
