This process provides a unique moisture seal which results in a superior, smooth feel. The custom finish further prevents the bamboo from drying out, which deters warping and splitting and increases the overall life of the shaft.

Finally, the shafts are hand-paired to ensure proper balance and consistent diameters. Quality wool felts are hand-sewn over wood cores to provide a full tone with minimal contact sound.
