The Mini-Turret lugs, previously solid brass, are now made of steel, as is the MAG throw-off, ensuring a crisp snare response. Even the tension rods have been replaced with steel ones. Collectively, these components are tonally harmonized with the bronze shell, resulting in a unified sound that resonates authentically.

An "accident" in the manufacturing process resulted in the shells being "left-handed" or opposite the standard orientation.
