The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV electric bass guitar is ready to take center stage. This four-string bass has an offset poplar body with a larger upper horn that distributes weight evenly for perfect balance and comfort during extended playing sessions. The graphite-reinforced maple neck extends through the body for increased sustain and is topped with a 12"–16" compound radius laurel fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets for fast, fluid playing.
The SBX IV is equipped with a pair of passive medium-output humbucking pickups that provide a dynamic tonal foundation with punch, power and clear note articulation. A two-way toggle switch enables pickup coil-splitting for single-coil-like tones. An active 3-band EQ, blend control and volume control with push/pull selector give players a wide range of tonal control to shape their perfect bass sound. The push/pull selector bypasses the active circuit to prevent signal loss if the 9V battery dies during a performance.
Jackson´s HiMass hardtail bridge enhances sustain and improves attack. The bridge´s solid construction helps the SBX IV withstand the rigors of touring and performance. Its adjustable saddles provide precise intonation for optimal playability up and down the neck.
The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV combines cutting-edge design with professional performance features at an unbeatable price. Its unique offset poplar body is available in high-visibility Neon Orange and Satin Graphite finishes that are sure to make a bold statement on stage. A distinctive 2x2 black headstock with understated "J" logo completes the modern rock image.
