Those clever folks at Raillhammer pickups sat down with Smashing Pumpkins´ Billy Corgan to develop a bridge pickup for his signature guitar. The result is part of Railhammer´s Billy Corgan Humcutter pickup line. This unique, hybrid design started with the voice and output of a classic P90, then beefed it up a little and added a sliht mid-range bump for a slight "cocked-wah" tone that punches through without needing to add OD or distortion. If you are a player who casually jumps the line between clean and dirty, but wants a great combination of punch and articulation, you will love these pickups.

Railhammer´s approach to pickup design puts rails under the bass side and individual pole pieces under the treble side to leverage the strengths of both. With fat low end that never gets muddy and soaring highs that don´t "icepick," they are rapidly become the pickup of choice for many notable players.
